Q1.Is a size 4 ball too small?

Size 4 is perfectly sized for its target group but too small for older players. Its "appropriateness" depends entirely on who is using it!

Whether a size 4 football is "too small" depends on the user's age, purpose, and physical development. Here's a detailed breakdown to help you judge:

1. Designed for specific age groups  

Size 4 footballs are not "too small" for their intended users—they are specifically designed for children aged 8 to 12. At this stage, kids have smaller hands, less strength, and are still developing coordination. A size 4 ball (with a circumference of 63.5–66 cm and weight of 350–390 g) is proportionate to their body size, making it easier to control, pass, and kick accurately. Using a larger ball (like size 5, which is for adults) at this age could hinder skill development and lead to frustration.

2. Too small for older players or adults  

For teenagers (13+) or adults, a size 4 ball would be too small. This age group typically uses size 5 balls (circumference 68–71 cm, weight 410–450 g), which are better suited to their larger hands, greater strength, and the faster pace of adult-level play. A size 4 ball would feel overly light and compact, making it harder to generate power and control in competitive matches.

3. Context matters: training vs. casual play  

- In structured youth training (U8–U12), size 4 is the standard and ideal.  

- For casual play, if younger kids are involved, size 4 works well. But if mixed ages are playing, a size 5 might be more versatile for older participants.

A: The time of delivery is about 20~30 days after we receive the deposit.

A: We accept 30% T/T in advance, 70% in the period of shipment. Or L/C at sight.

A: Usually we will take 1~3 days to make the samples with just your logo on. For more complicated designs/ styles it takes about 5-7 business days.
