Things to consider when making volleyballs

The precautions to be taken when making volleyballs mainly include the following aspects:

Material selection: volleyballs are usually made of leather or high-grade synthetic materials for the outer covering, and the inner lining is mostly made of polyurethane (PU). This material ensures the elasticity and durability of the ball, but it also has a high requirement for hitting strength, which may increase the chance of injury. Air volleyballs, on the other hand, are made of soft plastic with good softness and elasticity, making them suitable for beginners and recreational players, reducing the risk of potential injuries during the sport.

Process requirements:

Leather volleyball: in the production process, it is necessary to ensure that the leather is free of defects such as tortoise, cracked surface, knife wound, etc. The leather pattern should be fine, the surface is round and smooth, and the stitching of the ball shell is neat and even. Check the air-closing performance after inflation to avoid air leakage and slow spreading.
Rubber-made ball: it is required to have uniform color in appearance, no stains, impurities, bubbles, leakage of cloth and so on.
Quality inspection: after the production is completed, the volleyball needs to be strictly inspected for quality. The inspection includes whether the specification, size, material and performance requirements of the ball meet the standard. In addition, it is also necessary to check the ball's appearance and air closure performance to ensure that there is no air leakage, slow air dispersion and other phenomena in the ball.
Safety and Durability: Volleyballs need to be designed and used with safety and durability in mind. Leather or synthetic shells can provide sufficient resilience and durability, but it is also necessary to ensure that the material is safe to avoid injury to the user.
